It’s not important how you get here,
the main thing is you do!
Whether you come by car, rail or by aeroplane: our hotel is so favourably located, you could almost believe the infrastructure was built specifically with us in mind. And here's how easy it is:
Travelling along Autobahn A52, take exit no. 28 at Essen-Rüttenscheid, follow Alfredstraße toward Essen-Zentrum, take the first possible right and then right again. Voilà. We can already see you coming! The route to the hotel is also signposted!
A taxi from the main railway station Hauptbahnhof-Essen will cost around €10. Prefer to spend the money elsewhere? Fine! Take underground lines 101 or 107 towards Essen Bredeney. Get out at the Florastraße station and walk roughly 500 m along Rüttenscheider Straße towards Bredeney; then turn right into Manfredstraße. In 100 m you'll be outside our door.
Düsseldorf is the closest airport. Take the next train departing from the airport railway station to Essen-Hauptbahnhof main railway station. From there you proceed as described left.
Alternatively, a taxi will bring you straight to our door in round about 20 minutes.
Hotel Maximilians has its own hotel car park (€10/per night) behind the building. It sometimes tricky to garner a parking space round about. But still there are plenty of opportunities to leave your car in the close vicinity. There is a car park just two minutes away from the hotel in Lambertstrasse, which usually offers sufficient parking space. If you ever have trouble finding a good spot when travelling here, just get in touch with reception. We'd be pleased to pass on our parking tips.
